    The vision for Yeaman’s Hall Club began in 1916 when a 900 acre tract of land was acquired with the intent of developing a full scale winter resort club. The club would be located just 12 miles north of downtown Charleston, SC in Hanahan and would service wealthy northerners traveling south by train in search of warmer climates. The club plan called for two golf courses as well as an assortment of other leisure activities and amenities.

Covering Seminole Golf Club down in Florida all the way up to Myopia Hunt Club in Massachusetts (and every thing in between) this book is loaded with color photos of profiles of the clubs and their histories. It's currently out of print so its a little tough to find, but well worth it.
